IRENE WANJIKU KARIITHI

We regret to announce the death of Mrs. Irene Wanjiku Kariithi on 4th August 2020 (formerly of KEBS Nairobi) after a long illness.

She was wife to John Ndiga Gatei of KALRO Nairobi. She was mother to Betty Karimi Gatei, Justin Munene Gatei and Fiona Nyawira Gatei. Grandmother to Adrian Mbiria Ngiri and Benjamin Kamuyu Mwangi. She was daughter to late Benard Kariithi Gakuru and late Grace Warui Kariithi of Kimbimbi, Kirinyaga County. She was daughter-in-law to late Justin Ndiga Gatei and Mrs. Leah Muthoni Ndiga of Githure Village, Kirinyaga County. She was sister to late Lawrence Gakuru Kariithi, Hosea Nderi Kariithi, Jane Mutitu Kariithi, Wilson Kanyi Kariithi, Rose Muthoni Kariithi, Agnes Wanjiru Karithii, Johnson Gachoki Kariithi, Peter Nguri Kariithi, Joseph Githinji Kariithi, Lucy Wakabari lrungu (KEBS), Frank David Kariithi and Rick Nelson Gatimu Kariithi (USA). Sister-in-law to Lilian Wambui Mwangi, Irene Kuthii Ngari, Joseph Ndogo, Eustus Muriithi among others.

Funeral will be held on Saturday 15th August 2020 at Githure Village, Gichugu, Kirinyaga County from 10.00am.
