ISAIAH WAIRACHU JOSHUA

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Isaiah Wairachu Joshua on 5th December 2023. He hailed from Kiriko-ini Village, Ithiru Ward, Kandara Sub-County, Murang’a County.

Son of the late Joshua Gakuru (Kiarie) and the late Martha Nieri (Maritha).

Husband to Cecilia Muthoni Wairachu. Father to Samuel Kiarie Wairachu, Alexander Ng’ang’a Wairachu (Lexcom Kitengela), Susan Njeri Wambugu (Telefonica Communications-Nanyuki), Grace Wanjiru Mbugua (Telefonica
Communications-Riruta Ndwaru Road), Elder John Karanja Wairachu (CEO-Telefonica Communications Ltd Murang’a) and Esther Kanyi Kamuyu.

Brother to Isaac Kamau Joshua, Nehemiah Kinuthia Gakuru, Emily Kanyi Mwangi, Noah Maina {all deceased), Adah Njambi Kamau and Elizabeth Waithira Gitonga.

Grandfather and great grand father to many.

Father-in-law to Irene Njeri Kiarie, Margaret Wambui Ng’anga’, Samuel Wambugu Miugo, Peter Mbugua Gathini, Rose Mugure, and Nephat Kamuyu Mbaru. . –

Brother-in-law to Lydia Njamiu (late) & Christopher Njuguna, Beth Mukami & the late Joseph Mbiu, Eunice Wangui & James Chege.

Prayers and funeral meetings are taking place at All Saints Cathedral (Monday 11th to Thursday 14th) 5.00pm to 7.30pm; Murang’a Town-Deekei Hotel (Monday 11th to Thursday 14th December) from 7.00pm and at his rural home in Kandara from 3.00pm daily.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home-Kabati (along Thika-Kenol Road) on Friday 15th December 2023 at 8.00am for funeral service at Kandara Primary School playground at 10.00am. Thereafter burial will take place at his nearby home in Kiriko-ini Village, Ithiru Ward, Kandara Sub-County, Murang’a County.
