It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Jacinta Njeri Gichuru, Superintendent of Kenya Prison, Kitui.

Wife to John Gichuru Mbugua. Mother to Janeffer Gichuru, Reagan Gichuru. Daughter of Bethuel Mwangi & Janeffer Wambui. Daughter-in-law to the late Peter Mbugua & Cicilia Nyokabi. Sister to Lucy Mathenge, Lydiah, Joyce Mwangi, Charity Mburu, Enos Kuria, Kiendano,Waithira, Celina, Kamau, Ruth, Wangechi. Muihwa Wa Late )opal, Wangu, Kiendano Nyota. Sister-in-law to Stephen, Mary, Mwihaki among others. Grand mother to Ciku, Timothy. Cousin to many and an aunt to many.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at her Home Maguguni and Nairobi Abby hotel.

The body is lying at KU Thika Road and the burial will be on Friday, 11th February, 2022 at Maguguni Thika East.
