JACKSON ISHMAEL MASAKE LAINI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of retired headteacher and secretary to the Teso Council of Elders, Mr Jackson Ishmael Masake Laini, which occurred on 8th November 2021 after a short illness.

Son of the late Mr Alexander Apollo Laini and Ruth Osapir. Husband to Winfridah Masake (Senge) and Robina Abo. Brother to the late Mary, the late Zipporah, the late Delewa, Mrs Elizabeth Laini, Charles Obae, Moses Okapes and Beatrice Aato.

Father to Alex, Irene, Maryline, Manea, Sylvia, Georgina, Rachel, Lulu, Joyce, Annabel, Dennis, Joshua, Emmanuel, Mark, John, Pharnandis and Samuel. Father-in-law to Wandera, Mukhabela, Amake, Onyango, Victoria, Lilian, Celestine and Edwin and a great friend to Wilson Ouko. He leaves behind thirty three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his matrimonial home, in Angorom Alupe Sub-location from 2:00pm.

The cortege leaves Butula Mission Hospital on Thursday 18th November, 2021, to his Kokadil home, for prayers and proceed to his Alupe home on the same day. His final prayers and burial will be on Friday the 19th of November, 2021, at his Alupe home.
