It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Mr. Jacob Otieno Awuor which occurred on 27th August, 2020 after a short illness. Until his death, the late was the Deputy County Commissioner for Matungu Sub-County, Kakamega County.

Son of late Nashon Awuor Obure and the late Yanita Omware Awuor. Beloved husband of Nansler Owaka Otieno. Loving father of Patty Scharalanther, Gealience Rolene, Byrawne Beckett and Bylawne Zestch. Brother of Zedekiah Awuor, Gilbert Awuor, Joash Ojang, Susan Akoth and the late Laska Atieno and Johnstone Awuor.

The cortege leaves Lifecare Hospital Bungoma on Monday 7th September, 2020. Burial will be held on Tuesday 8th September, 2020 at his home in Ndori Village, East Koguta Location, Nyakach Sub-County – Kisumu County.
