JADUONG RAPHAEL OMOLLO SIKEI (JAPOLO)

It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the death of Jaduong Raphael Omollo Sikei (Japolo) which occurred on 25th December 2022 after a long illness bravely borne.

Loving husband to Perpetua Aoko Mikwa. Son to the late Crispinus Sikeyi Nyamwage and Priscilla Otieno Sikeyi. Father to Geophrey Sikei, Judith Sikei, Ruth Sikei, Rev. Samwel Sikei, Gordon Sikei, Benjamin Sikei, the late Kevin Sikei and Christine Sikei.

Brother to Mary Sikei, Cllr. Ogola Kagoro, the late Odira Adina, the late Bens Kadina, John Adina and George Orwa.

Son-in-law to the late Caleb Nyagong’ and the late Doris Anyango.

Father-in-law to Maureen Mirera, Pst. Dorine Osewe, Zamedi Diang’a and the late Susan Akoth. Grandfather to Randy, Sheila, Samantha, Shalley, Victor, Joymeg, Benaiah, Raphael, Jayden, Shantel, Jabali, Jelani, Christian and the late Israel Kibali.

Loving uncle to Ken, Isaiah, Bon, Immaculate, Wycliffe among others.

A fundraiser is set for 8th January 2023 at Grace Church Kondele (Behind Nightingale Hospital) and 10th January at his home in Gem Asumbi.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary Kisumu on Thursday, 12th January 2023 at 8.00am for church service at Grace Church Kondele thereafter proceeding to his ancestral home of Namba Nyokal, Gem Asumbi, Homabay County on the same day.

Burial ceremony and graveside church service is on Friday, 13th January 2023 at his home.
