JAMES CHEGE THUO

It is with a profound and deep sorrow that we regret to announce the death of James Chege Thuo on 8 August 2020 following a tragic road accident along Kiambu Road. Prior to his demise the late Chege was the Finance Manager at Absa Life Assurance Kenya Limited.

The late Chege was a loving husband to his wife Sabina Muthoni and a doting father to their three (3) children Shelmith Wanjiru and Ann Njeri both of Brookhill School Riara Ridge and their son Alexis Thuo.

He was son to Stephen Thuo Mbugua (Matanya) and Philomena Wanjiru Thuo. Brother to Sarah Wangui, Gladys Muthoni, Anthony Mbugua and Jane Nyambura. He was son in law to Ann Njeri Gakuya and brother in law to Kevin Muhia and Jane Wanjiku.

Family, friends and relatives are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Kanunga, Kiambu County and at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Muringa (Githogoro).

The body will leave Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday 18 August 2020 at 8:00AM for a funeral mass at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church Kanunga at 11:00am. Thereafter, the late Chege will be laid to rest at his farm in Kiangiru, Kiambu County.
