JAMES KIPKETER ARAP TIROP

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of James K. Arap Tirop (Retired Commissioner of Sports) which occurred on 13th October, 2021.

Son to the late Elbabra and Clara Bundotich. Step son to Rubano Bundotich. Husband to Zipporah Tirop and Margaret Tirop. Son in-law to Kimas (Kapchesaigut) of Iten and the Mwalwa’s of Mwingi. Loving Father of the late Vincent Tirop, George and Liz Tirop (Totality Insurance), late Linda Tirop, Pastors Gilbert and Emma Karitu (ICC Nairobi), Peninah Tirop (Postbank), Lee and Beatrice Keter (Chepkatet), late Lee Kipchumba Tirop and Crystal Tirop (LVCT Health).

Brother to Fatuma Ali, Lillian, late Hellen, Herodia, Noah, Judith, late Martin, John, Sarah, Yuda, Timmy and Collins. Grandfather to Cheptoo, Eve, Gerry, Saul, Bukki, Allan, Gareth, joy, Mya, Chem, Khloe, late Ahadi, Khans, Stephen, Dahvile, Christian, Aahil, Lawi, Vicky, Virginia and Lewis. Great grandfather to Joshua and Caleb. Uncle to many.

A fundraiser will be held on Tuesday 19th October, 2021 at 2.00 pm and he will be laid to rest at his home, Kipkenyo Village, basin Gishu County from 10.00 a.m on Saturday 23rd October, 2021.
