James Macharia Gitahi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of James Macharia Gitahi of Ngano village, Nyahururu.

Son of the late Gitahi Macharia and the late Muthoni. Dear husband of the late Rose Wanjiru Macharia and Mary Wambui Macharia. Loving father of Beatrice Guandaru (proprietor Ziwani Boys), Wanjiku Macharia (Ngano), Joseph Gitahi (Kerwa), Esther Kaguamba (Kinunga), Leah Wangwiti {Nakuru), Julius Theuri (Ngano), Agnes Macharia (Kawangware), David Maina (Proprietor Damama Logistics). Peter Mwangi {Nyandarua County), Richard Wachira (Ngano),Wanjiru Macharia (Ngano), Paul Muriithi (Damama Logistics), late Lydia Muriithi (Nyeri), late Anastacia Kihara (Dondora) and late Hannah Wangari (Nairobi). Brother of Miriam Njoki Kanga, Peninah Kirigo, late Mary Nyambura Wamioro, late Leah Wangari, late Martha Mukami, late Kibuthu Gitahi and late Kairu Gitahi. He was a grandfather and great grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Ngano village, Nyahururu at 3:00pm, Black and White Hotel Nairobi at 6:30pm and Buruburu Sherehe Pub opposite Buruburu Police Station at 6.00pm for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Pope Benedict Hospital Mortuary Nyahururu on wednesday 4/3/2020 at 9:00am, and thereafter a burial ceremony at his home in Ngano Village, Nyahururu.
