JAMES MBOGO NAHASHON

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. James Mbogo Nahashon of Buru Buru, Phase 3, Nairobi.

The first born son of the late Nahashon Gatome Mbogo and the late Rahab Nyambura Gatome of Kirenga Village, Lari, Kiambu County. Husband of Jane Wambui Mbogo. Father of the late Mary Waniiku, Nahashon Thiong’o, Peter Kimani, Rahab Nyambura and Beth Wangui. Father-in-law of Maureen Atieno, Kevin Obuya and Vincent Odiara.

Brother of the late Beth Mbogo, Anne Wachira (USA), Frederick Mburu, David Njoroge (USA), Prof Grace Bunyi (Kenyatta University), Charles Muigai, Lucy Chege, Nancy Njenga, Sophie Njuguna (Ngong) and the late Arthur Mwangi.

Son-in-law of Peter Kimani Njihia and the late Mary Wanjiku Kimani (Limuru Ndiya). Brother-in-law of Pastor Felista Mburu, the late Obadiah Bunyi, Charles Tharao, Crispus Njuguna, Jacinta Nieri and Joseph Kimirs (Ministry of Defence), among others. In-law of the late James Rombo and Alice Rombo, the late Davis Otieno Adudans and Grace Obuya, and Zadock Mudanya and Judith Kadesa.

Uncle of Carol Wambui (UK), Edward Thiongo, Catherine Nyambura Mahia, Ray Thiongo (New Zealand), Robert Bunyi, Eliud Njuguna, Brian Waweru, Eric Chege, Bernice Gathoni, Nyambura Ndungo, Rahab Nyarnbura. Joseph Muiruri, Bonface Kimani and Trevor Kiarie among others; and grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting at A.I.C. Jericho Church, Nairobi from 4 p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Up Homes, Uplands on Wednesday 16th June. 2021 at 9 am for a funeral service at A.I.C. Mukeu Church, Lari and burial at their farm at Mukeu, near Lari High School.
