It is with humble acceptable of God’s will that we announce the death of James Miriti Muguna on 6th June 2024 at St. Theresa Mission Hospital Kiirua after a long battle with terminal illness.

Son of the late Damiano Muguna Kamero and the late Janet Karuru.

Beloved husband of the late Lucy Wambui.

Father of Faith Kagendo, Virginia Kawira (CEO/ Secretary Meru County Public Service Board), Ken Moita, Festus Mutugi, Timothy Mbaabu, Leonel Mutembei, and Philomena Gakii.

Brother of Julius Mati, Fidensio Murithi, Regina Ngeta, William Nyamu, Rose Gaiti, Juster Rima, and Isaac Nkonge.

Step-brother of Prisca Igoki, Severina Riara, the late Gabriel Riungu, the late Peter Kirimi, Geoffrey Mbae, Bernard Muriungi, and the late Elias Gitonga.

Grandfather of Eric Karani, Mark Mwiti,Wendy Kendi, Allan Mugendi, Precious Kagwiria, Lucy Moita, Ellah Makena, Ivan Timothy, Zemira Kaari, Jon Timothy, and Jim Imani.

Meetings ongoing at home Kithatu Village, Suguta Marmar, Samburu County and Mid Town Hotel, Meru Town from 5.00pm daily.

The cortège leaves St. Theresa Mission Hospital Mortuary, Kiirua on Tuesday, 18th June 2024 at 7.00am and proceeds to Kithatu Catholic Church for service and his interment at his home in Kithatu, Kanyakine – Meru.
