JAMES MUCHENE MBAI

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of James Muchene Mbai, which occurred on 11/12/2020.

Son of the late Mr and Mrs James Mbai Gathuri. Son-in-law of the late Mr and Mrs. Stanley Gicheru Wamwea. Husband of Sarah Ndiko Muchene. Father of Caroline Wanjiru Muchene, Catherine Wanjiku Muchene, the late Irene Wambui Muchene, Edwin Mbai Muchene and Stanley Gicheru Muchene. Father-in-law of Nancy Njeri Mbai and Mary Njeri Gicheru. Brother of Jane Wambui, Paul Kahara, Loise Wanjiku, Susan Wahu, Noah Njau, Hannah Wangui, the late John Gitau, the late Samuel Kamau and the late Robert Kungu.

Brother-in-law of Rt. Lay reader Leah Mambo Thairu (Mwalimu), Peter Gicheru, Mary Waweru, Stephen Gichoya, the late Samuel Mbatia, the late Mercy Mukuhi, the late Rachel Wanjiru and the late Anne Mwende. Grandfather of Olga, June, Brandon, Maureen, Juliet, Angel, Olivia, James, Amy and Leon.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Uthiru Gakobu, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

Burial service will be on Friday, 18th/December/2020, at ACK St. Joseph of Arimathea Gakobu, starting at 11.00am, thereafter he will be laid to rest at family graveyard at Uthiru Co-operation.
