We regret to announce the demise of Advocate James Nyaata Onchiri, which occurred on 22/10/2024 at Kajiado town.

He was a long practicing advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

Son of the late Mishael Onchiri and Martha Kwamboka of Mwongori Maziwa, husband of Linet Monyangi, Father of Nixon Mogaka, Nelly Kemunto and Ken Nyaata.

Grandfather of Liam Mishael, Liam Abiah and Aiden Nyaata. Brother of the late Tom Onchiri, Johnson Okenyoru, the late Jeremiah Ombaso, Jemima Ocharo, Jemima Nyamweya, the late Kennedy and Jane Nyanchama.

Brother Inlaw of Okinyi, the late Ocharo, Moraa, Martin, Wycliffe, George, Zipporah, Nyabuto, Emilly, Omwenga, the late Ocharo, Penuel Nyamweya, Jane an d Tabitha.

Nephew of the late Micah, Ochoki, the late Nyaisu, the late Joseck, the late Paul, Jacob and others.

Grandson of the late Okenyoru and the late Kemunto of Magenche Location and the late Mathayo Ratemo and Nyakara.

Cousin of Ben Mogaka, the late Joseck Nyaisu, Prof.Abel, Eunice, Monicah Omwoyo, John Omare, Kariuki Ochoki, Paul Nyaisu and others. Son-in-law of the late Mr & Mrs James Nyabuga of Mwongori Village.

Father in-law of Obed and Purity. Uncle of George, Rehema, Stella, Sylvia, Bertina, James Nyaisu, Lydia, Timothy and others. Korera of the late Pastor Shem Ngoko and Magaret Bundi.

Funeral arrangement meetings are going on at his home Sambell, Kajiado Town and Mwongori Maziwa, Nyamira County starting from 5.00 pm to 7.30 pm. Fundraising to be done on 3/11/2024 at his Kajiado home.

Requiem mass will be held on 7/11/2024 at Umash Funeral home -Nairobi as from 8.00 am and the cortege will be transported to his Mwongori home where he will be laid to rest on 8/11/2024.
