He was the son of the late Peter Kinuthia Kimani and the late Jane Waithera. Husband to Mary Wanjiku.

Father to Dr. Joseph & Elizabeth Karanja, Jane Waithera, Leonard & Susan Kinuthia, Moses & Grace Kimani, Antony Gitau, Alex Njenga, Nancy & Eric Thuku and Edwin & Mary Njoroge. Dotting grandfather to many.

Brother to the late Peter Kimani, late Hannah Naai Wainaina, Karanja Kinuthia (KK Promote), Wilson Njuguna Kinuthia, Priscilla Ngaruro Mugacha, Michael Muchina Kinuthia, late Margaret Njeri Mimi. Step son of Mary Wangui. Step brother to Rose Wamuhu, George Karumbi, Jane Njoki, Fidelis Wangare and the late Bernard Njuguna.

Relatives and friends are meeting at home from 4 pm at Kasphat near the dispensary.

The cortege will leave KU Referral mortuary on Wednesday 15th September 2021. Mass and interment will be at Mburiria near Kiambu town.
