JANE JEPKETER KEINO
It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs. Jane Jepketer Keino, who passed on 1st of February, 2022 at the Karen Hospital Nairobi.
She was the first loving wife of the legendary Dr. Kipchoge Keino (Kapchepchogon) of Eldoret, Kaplamai Nandi and Tulwet /Kesses, Usain Gishu County. She was the 4th born child of the late Kipkemei Arap Tigoi and the late Sigei Tapshiarka, step daughter to the late Tapmiaban.
Her siblings are Rosalyne, Elisha, Rael, Sally and the late Dorcus. Step sister to Motokaa, Kipkeny, Paulo, Rosebella, Sarah and Jeremiah. Mother to Emily Too (U.O.E Primary), Anne Mbatha-(HFC bank), Olympia Okal (Maseno University), Dr. Dinah Keino Kilel (Daystar University), Pastor Bill Choge (AIC Chebisas). Mother-in-law to Benjamin Too-(U.O.E), Richard Mbatha (Machakos), Jack Okal (Maseno), Lt. Col. Kennedy Kilel (DOD) and Bilha Choge (Nation Treasury).
Co-wife to Phyllis Keino and stepmother to lriene, James, Ian, Martin, Stella, Bob, Andrew and Susan Keino’s.
Grandmother to Brian, Sharon, Bethwell, Edith, Roslyne, Faith, Joy, Robert, Jesse, Joseph, Joshua, Chemutai, Kigen, Kipkalya, Beverlyn, Brigit, Chemeli and Kipkeino Berur. Great grand children: Daliah and Sheena.
Daughter-in-law to the late Kipkeino Arap Kurgat, the late Tapaigoi Cheriro & the late Tapwoko Sambai. Sister-in-law to Rael, Kaptingei, Kibore, the late Grace, Eunice and Drusilla.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Nairobi on 10th February, 2022. Burial will be held on 11th February, 2022 at her home in Tulwet Village, Kesses Uasin Gishu.
