It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jane Njambi Muturi (Mama Dickie) of Ol Joro Orok that occurred on 31/12/2021 in Nairobi.

Daughter to the late Geoffrey and Rahab Kinuthia.Wife to the late David Kimuchu Muturi.

She is mother to Dickson Muturi, Anne Wanjiku, Pauline Nyambura, Irene Wairimu and Mark Kinuthia. Mother-in-law to Lydia Muturi, Kimunya Ngugi, Arthur Kariuki and Winnie Kinuthia. Grandmother to Ian Mutahi, Ashleen Njambi, Biko Ngugi, Antwoine Kariuki, Chelsie Njambi, Pishae Kariuki and Caleb Kimuchu.

Sister to John Kinuthia, the late Priscilla Wambui, Salome Njeri, Charles Ngigi, the late Wilfred Kariuki, Emily Wambui, Grace Wanjiku, Judy Gathoni, Peter Mwangi, the late Isaac Kibochi and the late Samuel Mwaura.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the Ngong Hills Hotel in Nairobi, at 5.00p.m and at her home in OI-joro-orok.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday, 11/01/2022 at 10.00 a.m at the family home in OI-joro-orok.

Mama, you have fought a good fight, you have finished the race and kept the faith.
