JANE RUTH NYAGUTHII KIMOTHO

25th October, 1942 — 31st May, 2023

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Jane Ruth Nyaguthii Kimotho that occurred on 31st May 2023 after a long illness bravely borne.

She was the wife of the late Shem Kimotho Maiteri, mother to Anne Mwangi, Judith Wanjiru, Victoria Wairimu, David Maiteri and James Muteithia (Tei).

Daughter of the late Senior Chief Muteithia Kibira and Mercy Waruguru. She survived the following late siblings, John Kibira, Wanjira Kamamia and Muthoni Gathigira. She was a step sister to many.

Daughter-in-law of the late Jairus Maiteri and Esther Wanjiru. Sister-in-law to Lydia Gituku, the late Danson Thiga, Rhoda Macharia, the late Peter Karanja, Beatrice Kang’ethe, the late Wilson Wanjihia, Grace Wambui, the late Catherine Hutton, Rosemary Wangu,Alex Kamau and the late Kenneth Munoru.

Mother-in-law to Bernard Mwangi, Catherine Maiteri and Anne Wambui.

Grandmother to Wangechi, Michelle, Barbra, Afline, Sharon, Loreen, Vicky, Natalie and Shemkendrick.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their family home.

The funeral service will be held at ACK St James Church, Buruburu on 91une 2023 at 9:00am. Burial will take place immediately thereafter at their Ndunyu Chege home.

She has fought the good fight, she has finished the race and she has kept the faith.
