It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of our dear mum and sister, Mrs. Jane Wachuka Ruhio, formerly of Kenya Ports Authority, Mombasa, on 26/01/2022.

Wife to the late Henry Ruhiu Karega, Daughter to the late Elder & Mrs. Stanley Kiarie Njuguna (Mwalimu) of Gatundu, Daughter-in-law to the late Mr. & Mrs. David Karega from Njoro. Loving Mother to Judith Nungari, Dorothy Wanjiku, Jacqueline Mbaire, the late Eric Karega, Catherine Njeri and Irene Wanjiru Muchane. Grandmother to Michael, Henry, Morris, Maureen, Kevin, Alexander, Liam, Olivia, Nina, Imani and Geila. Mother-in-law to Joshua Kimani, Felix Kilonzo and Sammy Muchane.

Sister to the late James Njuguna, the late Jane Wachuka Ruhio Moses Kung’u, Salome Mungai, Tabitha Kiarie, Joseph Kimani, Peter Thini, Margaret Kiarie, the late Joab Macharia and Njau Kiarie. Sister-in-law to Salome Mbaire, the late Ernest Karega, Peter Kinyanjui, Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Munyambo, Samwel Njenga, Mr. & Mrs. Alex Ndung’u, Pastor & Mrs. Daniel Karega, Kenneth Mungai, Hannah Thini, Eunice Njeri and Sarah Njau. An auntie to many.

There will be a memorial service followed by a fundraising on Wednesday 02/02/2022, at PCEA – Juja Township Church at 4.00pm to off-set the hospital bill. Contributions can also be made to Paybill No.: (8045043), Account No.: (0721217861).

The cortege leaves KU mortuary, Thika Road on Friday 04/02/2022 at 7.30am to PCEA – Juja Township Church for the funeral service at 10.30am. Burial will be held the same day at Juja Farm.
