JANEMARY AWUOR OYUGI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Janemary Awuor Oyugi, who was wife to the late John Oyugi Kariet of Alego Kogelo village, Siaya County.

Daughter of the late Azariah Ochola Niga and the late Rodah Owako of KajimboVillage, Wang’chieng’ Location, Kabondo East Ward. Sister of the late Dr. Robinson Okeyo Ochola, the late Stanley Ochola, Nelly Ayoo, Alice Dindi, the late Phelice Akumu, Dr. Phares Ochola (Technical University of Kenya), Rose Oburu, Prof. Charles Ochola (Tom Mboya University College), Tobias Ochola (Kenyatta University), Derick, Rodah, Grace and Phelida. Cousin to Silas, Owuor, Ochieng’ Ojwang’ (Maseno University) among others.

Mother of Ken Otieno (County Government of Kisumu), Rowell, Billy, Everline, Rhodah and Felix. Sister-in-law to Monica, Judith, Nyataita and Dr Lillian. Mother-in-law to Patricia, Caroline, Rose and Faith. Auntie to Jared, Billy, Thundeka, Babu, Achieng’ Leticia, Cleophas, Maxwell and more. A doting grandmother to many.

Fundraising to offset Hospital and Funeral expenses will be held at Mwisho Mwisho Hotel (Siaya Town), on 07/11/2021, beginning at 2.00pm.

Burial will take place on Wednesday the 10th November, 2021, at her home in Karapul Village, Siaya.
