JARED NYAKUNDI NDEGE

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected demise of Mr. Jared Nyakundi Ndege which occurred at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital, Nairobi.

Until his death, Mr Ndege was a Senior Assistant Secretary at the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry.

He was son of Dorcas Kerubo Mosigisi and step son of Marita Kwamboka. Grandson of the late Bitange.

Husband of Charity Mueni Josiah. Father of Caleb Mboga, Andy Ndege, Carolyn Moraa and Charlotte Kerubo. Father-in-law of Mercy Cherotich.

Son-in-law of the late Josiah Mulwa and Phoebe Mulekyo.

Brother-in-law of Paul, Faith, Shylock, Erascos, Patricia among others.

Brother of Sarah Kwamboka, Lilian Mosero and Nancy Kwamboka.

Step brother of James, Julius, Godfrey, Sophie, Stella, Edith, Lilian, Lydia, Edna, Sophia, Maureen, Tony among others.

An adored grandfather of Ryan Abincha and Ray Morgan. Nephew of the Bitange, Ndege, Mosigisi, Florence, Norah, and Margaret families among others.

Cousin of the Singori, Nyaboga, Nyangena, Manono, Mageto, Omariba, Ong’era, Ochengo, Nyakundi and Orina families among others.

Uncle of Calvin, Kelvin, Alvin, Blessing, Daniel, Samantha, David, Mercy, Esther, Shantel, Sharon, Jayda, Shaun, Ivan, Imani, Elsa among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Suneka home in Kisii County, behind Suneka D.O.K Primary School for prayers & funeral arrangements. A fundraiser to offset hospital & funeral expenses will be held on Tuesday, 13th August 2024 at Professional Center in Nairobi and on Wednesday, 14th August 2024 in Suneka.

The cortege will leave Chiromo Funeral Home for Suneka on Thursday, 15th August 2024 at 7am.

A memorial service will be held at St. Peters Suneka Girls Secondary School grounds on the same day at 4.00pm.

The funeral service will take place at St. Peters Suneka Girls Secondary School grounds on 16th August 2024 from 9.00am followed by the burial at his home behind Suneka D.O.K Primary School.
