JELIAH KEMUMA TEYA

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mama Jeliah Kemuma Teya, that occurred on 14th  July 2020.

She was the daughter of the late Mzee Patroba Opande, the late Keziah Bisieri and the late Yunes Nyaboke. Daug Josiah to the late Mr Teya and the late Tabitha Matundura. Wife of, the late Joseph Ogweri Teya and mother to; Alice Moturi, Joyce Atinda, Grace Mainye, Florence Obino, late Charles Teya, Kefa Obwocha, Robert Teya, Mary Nyabuto and Shem Teya. Mother-in-law to; Dr. Charles Moturi ,Timothy Atinda, Samson Mainye, Daniel Obino, Henry Nyangweso, Jackline Ondari, Anne Obwocha, Billiah Nyatichi and Josephine Mogeni. Grandmother: to Kelvin, Geoffrey, Leah, Hillary, Mercy, Levi, Deborah, Bruce, Ashley and Francis among others. Great-grandmother to Leroy. Kayden, Bruce, Amara and Matthew among others. Sister to; Monica, Onyancha, Rael, Hellen, jephta, Onduko, Onchieku, Pei Nyakerario, late Monare Nyauma, Orina, Nyangwechi, Bwari, Kerubo and Linet.

Niece to; the late Gisore, late Ondicho, late Mandere, late Sangwera, late Orion, late Mogiti And Late Mocha, among others. Aunt to; Eric, Kerubo, Naomi, Gladys, Paul, Cliff, Alice, late Kemuma, Mongare, Obed, Perk, Enoch and Ochwang’i among others. Sister-in-law to; the late Monda, late Getonto, John, Samwel, jemimah and Eunice Teya. Co-wife to; late Esther, Damans, Grace and Eunice. Cousin to; Orang’o, Peris, Ronald, Paulina, late Hon Henry Obwocha, The Arasa’s, Nyachiro’s. Mosomi’s, Okere’s, Kebafas, Niaramba’s, Ogoro’s, Nyandwaro’s, Basweti’s and Onyango’s among others. ‘

Burial will be conducted in accordance with the Government regulations on Covid-19. The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Horne on Tuesday, 4th August 2O?O for burial on the same day at her Kijauri home,  Nyansiongo, Nyamira County.
