It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Jennifer-Jemutai Barmao (Rtd Teacher) of Kapsoya Ward, Ainabkoi Sub-county which occurred on Tuesday, 13th June, 2023 after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Kiprotich Samoei Chepkonga (Kapcherekweny) and the late Esther Kabon Rotich. Sister of the late Musa Rotich, Samwel, Rael, Jane, the late Veronica, Winfreda, Beatrice, Caroline and David.

Beloved wife of Col (Rtd) Wilson Barmao.

Daughter-in-law of the late Absolom Barmao (Kapchepkoriony) and the late Kimoi Barmao.

Beloved mother to Maj Fredrick (KDF), the late Spte Mathew (KDF), Advocate Edwin (Elgeyo Marakwet County Assembly), Brenda (MSC -HR Moi University), Brian (Bsc ICT – Catholic University) and Kennedy (Bsc Media and Digital Comms – Zetech University).

Mother-in-law to Majori (Teacher – Boarder Farm Primary) and Maurine (Nurse – EPK, Kapsabet). Beloved grandmother to Joshua, Jonathan, Jael, Kyle, Jesse and Jerusha.

Sister-in-law of the late Joyce Barmao, Rael, Caroline and Everline.

The cortege leaves MTRH Mortuary on Friday, 23rd June, 2023 for memorial service at Kapsoya Baptist Church thereafter to her Ngelel Tarit Farm home for the night vigil. The burial service be held on Saturday, 24th June, 2023 at their Ngelel Tarit Farm, Islamic Centre, Uasin Gishu County.
