JEREMIAH MUNYI LIMUNG’I

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. Jeremiah Munyi Limung’i which occurred on 15th October, 2020 at Chogoria Mission Hospital after a long illness.

He was the son of the late Mr. M’limungi M’Ibiri and the late Susan Mukiri (Ciacia). Husband to Alice Agnes Mukwanyaga. He was a retired education officer and until his death, the Chairman of Kenya Association of retired officers (KARO).

Father to Jane Mukomunene, Nicholas Mutethia (KFS), Fridah Mukiri (KMFRI), Stella Nkatha (Netherlands/Canadian Red Cross), Eva Nkirote (BOA) and Doreen Kinya (UON). Grandfather to Juvinitha Kawira, Felix Mugambi, Alicia Nkirote, Melissa Naserian, Melannie Soiyan, Gael Auma, Amaya Mwendwa and Arthur Munene. He was a Brother to Mworia, Oruka (late), Ntombura (KDF), Joanina, Muthamia, Janaro (late), Ntoruru (Kamwimbi Sec), Muthoni, Silas, Makena, Kailemia, Mwontune, Kaimuri, Julius, Mwita, Kathiari, Thuranira (late), Jane, Purity. Brother in-law to Miriti, Mbaya, Kibaara, Kaari, Mutuma (late), Muchiri, Mwontune, Leah, Karinguri, Betty, Mukiri, Kinya, Alice and Damaris. Father in-law to Prabha Puthan, Njoki Teresa, Dr. Fredrick Tamooh (KU University), Jackson Oduor (KRCS) and Justus Karithi (Sidian Bank). Loving Uncle, Cousin and friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at his Thau Residence in Muthiru village.

The cortege will leave Meru funeral home on Saturday 24th October 2020 at 9.00 am for church service at Thau Methodist Church and thereafter burial at his home (Muthiru Village Thau Location, Tigania West of Meru County).
