JERIOTH WAMBUI KAMAU

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Mrs. Jerioth Wambui Kamau on 22nd September 2024 peacefully at home.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Alexander and Bernice Kimaru, and sister of the late Kabugo Irimu, the late David Gathangira, the late Eliud Muchiri, the late Ella Gakuo, the late Elizabeth Wairimu, the late Macho Kimaru, the late Geoffrey Gathuthi, Gladys Wamaitha, Priscilla Kirigo, the late Lynda Urbani, the late Gikaria Kimaru and Eugenia Matindi.

She was the loving wife of the late Dr James Kamau, a doting mother of Bernice Gachegu, Kimuri Gitau, Jennifer Gitau, Amb. Jean Kamau, Angela Kamau, Linda Kariuki, and Dr. Kabugo Kamau.

She was the mother-in- law of the late Gachegu Gitonga, the late Mark Nduati and Dick Mugo. A loving stepmother of Patrick Kamau, Joel Kamau and Nellie Kamau.

She was a loving aunt of many nieces and nephews, a proud grandmother of Gitonga, Wangari and Dr. Kamau, Wambui and Waithera, Wambui, Warigia and Wanjiku, Cungu, Charagu, Kamau, Mukuhi and Mungai, Shiloh and Madison, Mugo and Kanini, and Cungu and Kimuri, and a great grandmother of Kemunto and Malachi.

We shall celebrate her life at a memorial service at Parklands Baptist Church on Tuesday 1st October 2024 at 11.00am.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Wednesday, 2nd October 2024 at 8.00am for a funeral service on the same day at PCEA Laban Kimungu Memorial Church in Githioro at 10.00am, followed by a burial at the family home.
