We accept with God’s grace the passing on of our Mum and Grandma; Joan Kimoi Chepsergon (Kogop Kimugul) of Kiboino Location, Baringo after a long illness.

Daughter to the late Mzee Sego and the late Kabon Sego.

Wife of the late Chepsergon Chesang. Co-wife to Sarah Sote Chepsergon and Sote Chepsergon. Mother to Richard Sergon, Peter Sergon (USA), Daniel Chesang, the late Wesley Ruto, Stephen Sergon (USA) and the late Rael Sergon. Step-mother to Amb. Michael Sergon, the late Julius Sergon, Clir Ben Sergon (USA), John Sergon, William Sergon, Mary Kuria, Francis Sergon, the late Henry Sergon, Paul Sergon, Sely Komen, Sr. Margaret (USA), Pascalia Sergon, Rogers Sergon (Canada), Bridgit Sergon (Sweden).

Sister-in-law to Pauline Chesang, the late Dr Jeniffer Chumo, Rose Kiprono, the late Anthony Chesang, the late Joseph Chesang, Hon. Grace Kiptui, James Chesang and the late Josephine Mjumbe. Grandmother to 70 grandchildren including Nixon, Linda (USA), Jepkoech (Ireland) among others. She had 55 great-grandchildren.

Cortege leaves PNN Funeral Home – Nakuru on 11th April, 2023 at 8.00am for Kabarak (Kabarnet Farm), Nakuru for burial on the same day.
