It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of John Aggrey Lanyo Odinga which occurred on 03/01/2024 at Royal Victoria Hospital -Yala.

Son of the late Hezekiah Odinga Odipo and the late Joan Ndungu.

Beloved husband to Winfred Lanyo. Father to Kenneth, Kevin, Fiona and Sharon Lanyo. Father-in-law to Brenda, Virginia and Sylvester.

Son-in-law to the late mzee Joel, Nereah and Joyce Odundo of Othach Sub-Location, East Yimbo location.

Loving brother to the late Gerishon Odipo, the late Eli Odunga, the late Naboth Okoth, the late Lilian Apelese Atieno, the late Rosemary Christabel Okello, the late George Naphtali Onyango, Beatrice Auma Philister, the late Karen Monica Oluande and the late Clarice Ayoo.

Brother-in-law to the late Dorrine Odipo, the late Jerusa Odunga, the late Jennifer Apondi, the late Margaret Onyango, Walter and Rita Odundo, Wilckister Akach, William and Judy Odundo, Jane Odundo, Peter and Margaret Odundo and Dr. Alice Patta. Grandfather to 9, among others.

The cortege will leave Yala Sub-County Hospital Mortuary on Friday 19/01/2024 for a service at A.C.K St. Mathews Bar Sauri, Nyamninia Parish at 12:00, after which the Cort will proceed to his home in Bar Sauri, Sauri Village for an overnight vigil.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday 20/01/2024 at 10:00am, thereafter Mzee John Aggrey Lanyo Odinga, will be laid to rest at his home.
