It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing of John Kago Mburu on 10th July 2024.
Son of the late Robert Kago and the late Hannah Wangari. Beloved husband of Mary Wambui.
Brother of the late Violet Nyambura, the late Samuel Ndungu, Moses Karanja, the late Jeremiah Gitau.
Father of Hon. Lucy Ambasi, Monica Wilson, the late Elizabeth Njoki, Anne Wangari, Robert Kago Mburu, Hellen Wangui, Regina Karuci- Emitungu, and Susan Wangari.
Grandfather of Michelle Wilson, Stacey Mphathiwa, Kimberley Champagne, John Kago, Sean Tuelo, Eugene Ndiane, Ryan Mburu, Millicent Wambui Kago, Adrian Mwairumba, Mary-Beth Wilson, Kimmie Anne Wilson, Audrey Kwena, and Samuel Kiburi Kago and great grandfather of Sarabi Champagne.
Son-in-law of the late Stephen Gituro wa Kibire and the late Loise Njeri.
Father-in-law of the late Andolo Ambasi, the late Paul Wilson, Samson Andanje Mwairumba, Jane Njeri Kiburi.
The cortège leaves Mukoe Funeral Home, Githunguri, Kiambu on Wednesday 17th 2024 and burial will take place at the family home in Matimbei Village, Lari.
