JOHN KARANJA MACHARIA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely sudden death of John Karanja Macharia formerly of Kenya Forest Service. He lived in Upperhill Estate Nakuru and formerly of Ziwani Nyahururu. He died on 4th September 2020 at his home due to cardiac arrest.

Son of the late Ayub Macharia and the late Susan Watiri and stepson of the late Naomi Macharia. Loving husband of Lilian Karanja and a doting father of Job Macharia, Stephen Kamau, Patrick Muiruri and Joy Watiri. Father in law of Caroline Macharia and loving grandfather of Lily Marie Watiri Macharia and Joan Grace Wairimu Macharia. Dad was a loving brother of Wairimu, Wallace, Nienga, Nyambura, Margaret, the late Jonah of Eldoret Country Lodge, Muiruri of Nyahururu Country Lodge, Wambui, Njeri and Wanjiru. Step brother of Njeri, the late Kamau of Buffalo Lodge Maralal,Wairimu, Ndung’u, Kariuki, Wambui and Kawara. Loving son in law of Mr. and Mrs Kipserem Chemwor. Brother in law of Stephen, Douglas, Isaac, Elly, Nicholas, Pius and Nancy. Dad was a loving uncle of many more.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Upperhill Estate Nakuru for funeral arrangements and prayers from 5: 00 pm daily.

There will be a thanksgiving Mass on Wednesday 9th September 2020 at his home from 5:30p.m.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home Nakuru at 8:00 a.m on Friday 11th September 2020 for burial at their farm in Munanda Subukia.
