JOHN KENNEDY MATARA OGOI

With acceptance of God’s will, we regret to announce the death of John Kennedy Matara Ogoi of Public Health Department, Nairobi City County on Tuesday, 24th September 2024.

He was the son of Francis Ogoi Moruri and Teresa Bwari Ogoi of Nyagacho, Kipkelion, Kericho; the late Teresia Ogoi and the late Milka Ogoi. 

He was husband of Nevence Bosibori Matara of Kamulu, Nairobi. Father of Juliet Kemunto, Linet Bosibori and Clinton Keith.

He was a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Bogonko of Nyakoe Kisii. Brother-in-law of Jeremiah, Grace and Tom.

Brother of Robert and Judith Angima, Beatrice Bosibori, George and Damaris Oburu, Biliah and Allan Kiliu, Maria and Dickens Ochieng, Geoffrey and Vane, Polycarp and Edna, Christine and Julius Tanui and Ruth and Paul Bosire, Mary, Pamela, Rose, David, John, among others. 

He was a nephew and cousin of the Moruri’s of Ting’a/Kitale and Omambia’s of Tombe and an uncle to many. 

Fundraising event to offset medical and burial expenses shall be held on Tuesday, 1st October 2024 at Nairobi Central SDA Church (Old Sanctuary), Jakaya Kikwete Road opp. Integrity Center at 5.30pm.

The funeral service will be held on 2nd, October, 2024 at Nairobi Central SDA Church at 9:00 am. 

Burial for Late John Kennedy Ogoi shall be on Friday, 4th October 2024, at his home in Nyagacho (Mtaragon) Kipkelion, Kericho County.
