It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s divine will that we announce the passing of John Kiburi Githae, on the 24th May, 2023.

Son of the lateTarcisius Githae Muthumbi and the late Esther Wairimu Githae.

Step-son to Mary Mugure Githae. Brother to Mary Wanjiru, the late Jackson Muthumbi and Faith Wanjiru.

Husband to Sarah Wanjugu. Father to Ken Kiburi, Esther Kiburi, Michael Kiburi, Edna Kiburi and Samantha Kiburi.

Father-in-law to Brenda Wanjiru. Son-in-law to Mr. & Mrs. Duncan Mindo.

Nephew to Robert Mugo Muthumbi and Florence Muthoni Muthumbi.

Uncle to Natasha, Elsie and Keilani. A Cousin, Nephew, In-law and Friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting at his home in Greenvalley Estate, off the Eastern Bypass – Ruiru from 6.00pm and at The Hood Restaurant – Kilimani, from 6.00pm.

The Cortege leaves Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home (By-pass) on Friday 2nd June 2023 at 7:00am for the funeral and burial service at Mbari ya Thairu Kimondo, Githii Location, Kirerema Sub-location, Mukurwe-ini, Nyeri County from 11.00am.
