JOHN MBIJIWE KABITI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of John Mbijiwe Kabiti on 13th January 2022 at Coptic Hospital while undergoing treatment.

He was the husband of the late Salome Naitore. Father of Kimathi Mbijiwe (Meru), Alice Karimi (Rtd-TSC, Nanyuki), Phineas Mugambi (Rtd-KFS), the late Carol Nthaga, Lucy Kanorio (TSC, Meru), Mary Kiende (Markimu Enterprises), Joy Makena (MK Designers) and Pamella Karwirwa (Pamella Investments).

Father-in-law of Lawrence Gichuru (Nanyuki), Harriet Mugambi (Nairobi), Antony Murithi (KTDA) and Jacob Mwiti (Immigration). Grandfather of Jane Gatwiri, Gloria Kinya, Dennis Murilthi, Steve Koome, Cynthia Kagwiria, Antony Munene, Brenda Wawira, JacklIne Ntinyari, Patience Nkirote, Sharon Mwendwa, Ian Klnoti, Jayden Munene, Kevin, Ann Murugi, Linda Kendi, Purity Kanana and eight great grandchildren. Uncle and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Uruku, Meru for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Consolata Hospital Mortuary Nkubu on Friday, 21st January 2022 at 8.00 am for a requiem service and burial on the same day at his residence in Kirigu Village, Rubiri, Uruku Location, Nkuene Division, Meru County.
