JOHN MBINGI MUKANDA AYOTI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the Mbingi family announces the resting of their patriarch Mzee John Mukanda Mbingi Ayoti on 2nd March 2021 at the Nairobi Hospital. In his resting, family and friends mourn a loving and charming father, a peace maker and illustrious son of Lwero Village, Amerikwai, Teso South District, Busia County.

Son of the late Jacob Mukanda Wanjala Ayoti and the late Anjeline Akombe. Step-son to the following lates Namukabi, Nasubo, Magdaline, Nasirumbi, Esofina and Elizabeth. He was husband to Getrude Abero Mbingi and the late Mary Ake Mbingi. He was father to late Vincent, Topister, Rosemary, Beatrice (Night), Godfrey, Wafula, Charles (Wesonga), Dan (Adung’osi), Rebecca, Annet, Joy, Kadogo, Franco, Julius, Emily, Nancy, Everline (Baby), Everline (Tiwa), Nancy, Janet, James, Philip, Gerald and Njoki Gitau.

Son-in-law to the late Petro & Elizabeth Opakasi and Alois & Sabrina Oramis. He was brother to Juma, Okello, Clare, Dorothy, Mary, Scovia, Alice, Apiyo, Adongo, Caro, Nafula, Nakunda, Khamala, John Ondwasi and the following lates Desiranda, Ombudie, Nelson, Euphransia, Wandera, Wanjala, Ouma, Quinto, Ambongo, Wanyarna, Otutie, Masakhalia, Majoni, Kotikoti, Wabwire, Okello, Nasike, Anyango, Hendrika, Odulu, Agutu and Mary.

Brother-In-law to the late Santorino, Otwani, Emoto, the late Charles, the late Desterio Ong’ole, Jane Amalcadait, Abere, Oria, Ouru, Anastasia, Elizabeth, Chrlitika, Nabwire, Janerose, Jenta, Sasi, Moya, Lilian, Getrude, Angeline, Pamela, Monica, Philomena, Redempa, Violet, Syphrosa, Monica Akisa, among others. He was a doting Grandfather to 32 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 6 great-grandchildren. He was cousin, uncle and nephew to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Millmani Executive Apartments for funeral arrangements. Other meetings are being held in Busia at Lwero Village, from 6.00pm to 9.00pm daily.

There will be a requiem mass to celebrate his life at All Saints Cathedral on Thursday 11th March, 2021, at 3.00pm. Thereafter will be a fundraising at the same venue from 5.00pm. You can support the family using Pay-bill No 0039577, Account No. (Your Name) or Mpesa No. 0722306109.

The cortege leaves Nairobi on Friday 12th March 2021 for burial at Lwero Village, Busia Town on Saturday 13/03/2021, starting 9 00am.
