It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. John Michael Ontita Nyandika on 9th October, 2020, formerly Assistant Education Officer, Manga Nyamira County.

Loving son of the late Nyandika Ooga and the late Marcellah Genchabe, son-in-law of the late Francis Ondogo and the late Agness Ondogo. Loving husband of Priscillah Gesare Ontita. Loving father of Boaz, Shimeo, the late Irene, Ooga, the late Nyakundi, Kwamboka, Nyanduko, Beatrice, Zacharia & Sylvester. And many grand-children. Father-in-law of Rose, Judy, Linet, Cleophas and Oscar. Brother of Teresia, Tumbo, Moige, Bitutu, the late Jane and the late Nyaboke, Bonareri, the late Jomo, Mageto and Regina.

Brother-in-law of Nyambane, Nyamwaya, Joseph, Patrick, Kwamboka and others. Korera of Henry & Rebeccah, Chania, Rayori, Gichana, Mongare, Dorcah, Grellah and John Galia. Cousin of William Mayaka (former PS), John Zachary, Kenneth Sese, Peter Mochache (Businessman), Kennedy Siro, Richard Siro, Richard Onsongo, Casper Gichana, Mekenye and others. Nephew of the late Zachary, the late Siro, the late Henry, the late Sese Ooga, Nyandika Siro (Moswaeri), Onsongo, Gichana Ooga, Mochache, Oswere and others.

The main fundraising will be held at Riomwando Village, Marani on 27th October, 2020 from 11:00am.

The cortege leaves Kisii Referal Hospital Mortuary on 29th October, 2020 at 2.00pm for Riomwando Village – Marani Sub-County, Kitutu Chache North. The late Ontita will be laid to rest on  30th October, 2020 at his rural home Riomwando Village, Marani Sub-County.
