JOHN OBOR OTIENO

It is with profound sadness that the family of Mr. John Obor Otieno of West Uyoma, Kokwiri regret to announce his death, that occurred on 29th September, 2022.

Son of the late Solomon Otieno Awuor and the late Mama Seba Osuri.

Beloved husband of Hilda Auma Otieno. Father to Dr Edwin Omondi Obor, the late Arthur Odhiambo, the late Fred Yuko, Dr Nancy Obor- Blaauwhof (South Africa), Linet Obor and Eunice Achieng.

Grandfather to John Obor Otieno Jr., Sonia Adhiambo and Fred Yuko (Leakey) Jr., Michelle and Nicole Omondi, Liam Arthur Blaauwhof (South Africa). Great-grandfather to Miles Hawi and Avy Solana.

Brother to Evans Gowi, the late Tobias Mola, Esther Mbuya, Benson Ochola of Uyoma Kokwiri. Brother-in-law to Jared Otieno, the late Johnny Otieno of Bumala, Kakamega and father in-law to Dorcas Okanga Omondi.

Friends and relatives are meeting at his home at Likway Estate, Manyuanda, West Uyoma for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Matangwe Funeral Home Bondo, on Friday, 14th October, 2022 at 9.00am for the funeral service St. Marks ACK, Nyakongo- West Uyoma. The burial will be at his home on the 15th October, 2022 from 9.00am.
