JOHN W. S. MBURU

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Mr. John W.S. Mburu, a retired Deputy Director, Ministry of Livestock and Agriculture, that happened on 11th January, 2024.

He was the son of the late Simeon Sakawa Onteri and the late Christine Buyaki Onteri.

He was loving husband to Florence Gesare Mburu and devoted father to Cecilia, Dr. Oigara, Gertrude, Alice,
Keya, Gladys, Eng Gabriel, Dr. Symphie, Evelyne and Lilian.

Father-in-law to Richard, Roselyne, Dr. Miyoro, Peter, Diana, Dr. Dovison, Dr. Fisang, Dr. Nyambega  and Eng. Walter.

He was brother to Nyanchera, Ndege, Kerubo, Nyangau, Mose and Eng. Zebedee Barongo. Step brother to Nyabuti, Kerage, Ombenyi, Sianyo, Oyagi and the late Kemunto.

Grandfather to Shirley, Mike, Brandon, Gabriella, Paul, Kimberly,Angie, Nicole,Andre, Austin, Noella, Anthony, Bakhita, Sharon Adele, Marvin, Valery, Edvin, Rita, Sandra, Dorcas, Scholar, Kaylah, Baraka, Leah, Nathan, Micah, Ezra, Paula, Neal, Anna, Elsie, Africia, Ashley, Johniawrence, Tiffany, Allan, Roy, Bonny and Shabbir. Great-grandfather to Lincoln, Leilah and Nahyaan.

He was brother-in-law to late Nyamari, Julia, Late Nyanusi, Isabella, Elizabeth, Rispa, Late Lydia, Late Arita, Ongechi, Late Turuphena, Ondari, Late Monica, Jemima and Late Joyce.

Korera to late Bonuke, David, late Miyoro, Njeru, Kereri, Edgar Fisang, Late Nyagoto and Late Oyugi.

The burial and Mass to celebrate his life will be held on 2nd Feb, 2024 at his Mwata home, Kisii County.

There will be a fundraising on 25th Jan, 2024 at the professional Center Ngong Road Nairobi.
