JONAH OGUDA OGOLA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved fatherJonah Oguda Ogola.

Jonah peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday 10 January 2021 at the Nairobi Hospital ICU where he had been admitted for over 5 weeks.

Son of the late Gideon Ogola and the late Amelia Nyanja.

He was a devoted husband of the late Lily Nyathogora Oguda (Mater Hospital), and a loving father of Carolyn Oguda (USA), the late Humphrey Wanjihia Oguda (USA), Dr Lulu Nyawira Oguda-Waitara (The Nairobi Hospital) and Joseph Ogola Oguda.

Jonah was Guka to LeeAnne, and James; Craig and Lily.

Brother of the Ogola family. Son-in-law of Chief Francis Wanjihia Njuce and Marjory Nyawira Nyakiago.

Jonah was the loving Father-in-law of Bernadette Katungwa.

Brother in law to the Wanjihia family. He was uncle, surrogate father, friend, and prayer partner to many in Kenya and worldwide.

There will be a memorial prayer service and fundraising to help offset the Hospital bill on Tuesday January 19th 2021 at Methodist Guest House on Oloitokitok Rd, off Gitanga Road, from 6.00pm-8.00pm.
