It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of mzee Jonathan Kimata Mukui.
Son of the late Ex-divisional Chief Mukui wa Kimata and Wanjiru wa Mukui. Step-brother to the late Matiruka Mukui, the late Andrew Chege, the late Anthony Kimata, the late Raphael Waweru, Solomom Gachanja, Bernard Muoria, among others.

Husband to the late Martha Nyathira. Father of Dennis Kimata (UoN), the late Eunice Wanjiru, Grace Wairimu (Grace Kamuyu Advcts), Annbel Wambui, Priscilla Nyambura, Eileen Karugi (TSC), Nancy Njeri and Charles Mwangi.

Son-in-law to the late Ayub Mwangi and Esther Wairimu. Brother-in-law to the late Jonah Kinuthia, the late Samuel Githua and Henry Maara. Father-in-law to Salome Wanja, Dickson Miano, David Shihemi and Rachel Njoki. An uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather to many.

Requiem Mass will be said at Serengeti Court Membley Estate Nairobi, on Wednesday I 7th November, 2021, at 7.00pm.

The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home, along the Northern Bypass – KahawaWest on Friday November I 9, 2021 at 8.00am. Funeral Mass and burial rites will take place at his farm Gwagatimu, Kirangi, Gatundu South, on the same day.
