JONES KIVILU MUOKI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Jones Kivilu Muoki after a long illness.

Son of the late Muoki Mutuma and the late Mbithe Muoki. Step-son of the late Nyiva (Kaseu) Muoki. Loving husband of Susan Nthuka. Father of the late Jeremiah Kitavi, Dr Joseph Mbithi, Bonface Mutuku, Josephine Kasyoka, the late Daniel Kyulu, Benjamin Mumo, the late Dominic Kioko and Judith Kirayan. Brother of the late Sammy Makau, late Katio Mutua, Philiph Mutuma, the late Nziva Ndolo, the late Kalekye Muli and the late Mukami Muli. Father-in-law of Regina Kitavi, Beatrice Mbithi, Joseph Kasyoka, Elizabeth Mutuku, Regina Mumo, Rose Kioko, and Stephen Kirayan. Grand-father of Catherine Nyiva, Damaris Mbithe, Stephen Muoki, Jane Mueni, Michael Kivilu, Kioko mbithi, Everlyne Mumbe, Mbula Mutuku, Tony Muthoka, Carol Nthenya, Mercy Nthuka, Lawrence Mukiti, Bon Wambua, Susan Mwikali, Angela Syombua, Blessing Susan, Sherry Netipei, Tizzyan Naisianoi, Prince Natanya. He had six great grandchildren and was uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home at Kyangombe Village and at his son’s home in Machakos at Manza village. Due to the COVID 19 restrictions we urge family and friends to observe the government regulations on social distancing, wearing masks and washing of hands.

The Cortege leaves Machakos Funeral Home on Saturday, 19th September 2020 at 9 am, prayers and burial ceremony will be held at Kikawani Primary/Kyang’ombe village, Iyeti location, Kathiani Sub-county, Machakos County.
