JOSEPH KAMAU WAIRIA

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Joseph Kamau Wairia of Githunguri sub-County, Kiambu County.

Son of the late James Wairia Kamau and late Ruth Wambui Wairia. Son in law of the late Samuel Karirl & the late Catherine Nieri. Husband of Margaret Mukami Kamau. Father of Kenna Wambui, Karivy Wangari, James Wairia, Pow Wambui, Kate Nieri and Peter Thomas Njuguna, Mary Kunene and Jayke Wairia. Brother of Mary Kunene and the late Paul Kimani (Kamondo), Harun & Jane Njoroge (Githunguri), Charles & Grace Wairia (USA), John & Grace Thuo (Githunguri), Mungai Wairia (UK), Samuel & Agnes Gathecha (UK), Ayub & Carol Manje (UK) and Lolse Wairia (UK). Grandfather of Jhanae Lisa Ng’endo Kibugi, Donald Stephen Kiarie, Brianna Wairimu, Britney Wairimu, Jhneile Mukami and Wayne Klmotho.

Famlly and friends are meeting daily at his Minolta Farm near Gitwe Tea Buying Centre, Githunguri at 4pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves MUKOE funeral home, Githunguri on Thursday 13th August 2020 at 9:00am for  a funeral service and burial at the Late James Wairia’s family gravesite at Thakwa village, Gthunguri, Kiambu County.
