It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Joseph Kariuki Maina(former employee of Kenya Commercial Bank). He hailed from Gathanga village Kiambaa Sub -County, Kiambu County.

Son of the late Maina Mbugua and late Esther Wangari. Husband of Mrs Elizabeth Njoki Kariuki. Father of Nancy Wangari, Rachael Kiaritha, Grace Wambui Githinji, Lucy Murugi, Kenneth Maina and Anne Wairimu Brother of the late Daniel Mbugua, the late Rahab Ndiko, the late Benson Kamau, the late James Ribiro and late Hannah Wairimu. Son-in-law of the late Mr Stephen Mungai and Mrs Rachel Mumbi of Redhill. Brother-in-law of the late Richard Waruingi, Samuel Kamau, late James Gichuri, Dr Murugi Mungai Kamau, George Macheho, Wamaitha Whidby and late Eunice Balcombe. Grandfather of Daniel Ng’ang’a & Margaret Njeri, Joseph Kariuki, Eva Kiaritha, Eirene Njoki, Mark Kariuki, Melaine Njoki and Elizabeth Wanjiru. Great Grand Father of Avyanna Wangari and Ayden-Noah Evans Kariuki. Father-in-law of James Kiaritha, Patrick Githinji, Anne Njoki and John Gitonga. Uncle, nephew and cousin of many.

The cortege leaves St Teresa funeral home Kiambu road on 4TH June 2020 at 9am. Brief funeral service and burial to be held at his farm in Wanyori Gathanga Village starting from 10am.
