It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Joseph Maina Karianjahi of GathehuVillage,Magutu Location, Kithira East Sub-county, Nyeri County.

Son of the late Karianjahi Kabithe and Salome Thuguri. Husband of Priscilla Wairimu Maina. Father of Charles Karianjahi (CK), Caroline Thuguri, Purity Wachuka, Elizabeth Njeri, Lawrence Weru, Catherine Nyakeru, Edward Ngatia, James Githaiga, Mary Muthoni, Ann Nyawira and Alice Gathoni. Brother of the late Pauline Wairimu Kimunya, Francis Ngatia and Francisca Wangui. He was Son-in-law of Mutuandi and Rose Wachuka. He was brother-in-law of the late Mutahi, the late Njeru, the late Githaiga, the late Kaigi, the late Gathoni, the late Nyakeru, the late Esther, Mugi, Mathenge and the late Wanjugu. He was father-in-law of Ngugi, Dan, Tirus, the late Onesmus, Agnes, Wawira and Mwangi. Grandfather of Nyambura, Alex, Ken, Nkrumah, Wairimu, Vickie, Angela, Eric, Kevin, Tracy, Karen, Janice, Lynn, Jimmi, Kirnani, Muthoni, Irene, Livert, Bob, Destine, Jude, William, Cynthia, Wickliffe Ariana, Baraka, Emmanuel, Malcom, Abigael, Abriana, Maish, Aden, Njeri and great grandfather of 9 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home Gathehu Village for prayers and funeral arrangements from 6:00 pm.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary at 8:00am on Tuesday 29th September 2020 for burial and funeral service at his Gathehu Farm past Ihwagi Centre starting from 10:30am.
