JOSEPH MAINA WARI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the demise of Retired Teacher Joseph Maina of Forward Travellers Sacco that occurred on Saturday 18th September 2021.

Beloved son of the late Joram Wari and Eunice Nyambura Wari. Brother to Francis Kamau, Charles Muthee, Simon Wahome, Geoffrey Wairegi, John Munga and the late Massim Karimi. Husband to Agnes Wanjiru Maina. Father to Boniface Wari and Elizabeth Wangari, Massim Karimi and Mary Wanjiku, Josiah Mwangi and Grace Wambui, Eunice Nyambura and Isaac Kinyua and James Macharia of JKUAT.

Grandfather to Johnson Mwangi (DeKUT), Brian Maina, Edwin Mwaura, Joseph Maina Karimi, Maxwell Wari, Favour Wanjiru Karimi, Agnes Wanjiru Mwangi, Esther Wambui, Joseph Maina Mwangi, Joseph Maina Kinyua and Brielle Muthoni.

The cortege leaves Engineer District Hospital at 9.00 am on Friday 24th September 2021. Funeral Mass and burial service follow on the same day at his home at Mkungi Scheme Nyandarua County.

Dad, if we were to write a story, it would be the greatest ever told. Of a kind and loving father who inspired us with courage and industry. Although we cannot hear your voice or see your smiling face we know deep down in our hearts that you have not left us alone. Instead you surround us with the singing of birds, the rising of the sun and fall of night. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove that HE only takes the best.
