It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Joseph Maingi from Kyanda, Mua hills, which occurred on Thursday 27/8/020, after long illness.

Son of the late Ngie Kilonzo and late Annastacia Ndunge. Loving husband of Theresia Kavete Maingi. Son in law of the late William Maweu and late Elizabeth Mukenyi.

Brother of Belta Wanza, Late Daniel Kaunga, Patrick Mwenga, Mary Katile, Philip Mwaniki, Late Nicholas Munyao and late Dominic Kilonzo. Loving father of Margaret Kibutu, Patricia Kiala, Maryjuster Makau (Chairlady Gelian Hotel Machakos), Paul Maingi (National Organizing Secretary KUPPET), and Richard Maingi. Father-in-law of Josephine Ngei, Lucy Maweu, Hastings Ngave (Markings autospares Machakos), and Alfonce Kioko Chairman Kenya Tourism Fund & Gelian Hotel Machakos). Grandfather of 16, Michael, Januaries, Fredrick, Harrison, Judy, Sylvia, Lillian, Anthony, Geoffrey, Mercy, Mitchell, Joyce, Maureen, Emmanuel, Fidelis and Jude. He had 7 great grandchildren. His inlaws were Mr&Mrs Ngave, Mr&Mrs Kioko Kamulo, Mr&Mr Muoki and Mr&Mrs Kavoo. Uncle of Peter Mwenga, Mutua Mwaniki among others.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home Machakos on Friday, 4/9/2020 at 8am. Thereafter be laid to rest at his home, Kyanda village, Mua hills, Machakos county. Starting 11am.
