JOSEPH MAKOMELE OWIYE

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we znnounce the passing on of our beloved brother Joseph Makomele Owiye, of the Anglican Development Services- Western Branch (formerly ACK WRCCS) Vihiga County; Chief Steward ASK Western Branch and founder of the Sugar Land Sweet Potato Producer and Marketing Association. He died on 14th July 2020.

Husband of Lillian Atemba Andeyi. Father of Loice (Ministry of Heath), Lucy (TSC), Thatcher (Community health worker), Elekiah and Mwalimu Francis.

Son of the late Mwalimu Francis Owiye and Mama Fridah Owiye; brother of the late Rodgers, the late Ruth, the late James, the late Peter, Damaris (TSC), Joan (Principal Lukhuna Girls), Hellen and Florence Owiye (Shikunga High School).

Loving and caring grandfather of Shaniah, Shayne, Sheon and Frank Toe. He was a very loving caring uncle of many nephews and nieces.

The cortege will leave PGH Kakamega on Friday 17th at 2.00 pm. Funeral service (by Church of God (EA) Eshihunya Church) will take place after burial service at his home Eshibembe Village, Mundobelwa sub-location, Kisa North, Khwisero sub-county, Kakamega.
