JOSEPH MUGO WAWERU

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved father Joseph Mugo Waweru Alias (Nyaga Waweru) which occurred on 24th July 2021 at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Husband to the late Mary Nyambura Mugo, father to Margaret Muthoni, Josephat Waweru, Peter Muongoya (TSC Taita Taveta) Ruth Ndeki, Hannah Njeri Ngure, Jane Wambui Mwai, Samwel Muichigi and Dr. Tabitha Wanjau (Kisii University). Father-in-law to Mianda, the late Muciku Waweru, Philomena Muongoya, Ngure Mucai, Mwai Kimani, Wairimu Mwichigi and Michael Wanjau (Equity Bank).

Brother to the late Mwichigi Waweru Late Ruth Ndeki Kamau, the late Tabitha Wangui Ngugi, Late Kabuiya Njoroge and the Late Nyambura Ngugi. Step Brother to late mwichigi, the late Mbogo the late Gichanga and the late Wamuti. Grandfather to Miandas, Wawerus, Muongoyas, Ndekis, Ngures, Mwais, Mwichigis, Wanjaus and great grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Kambaa Githunguri, Thogoto Kikuyu and Milimani Nakuru.

The cortege will leave PNN funeral Home Nakuru on Saturday 31st July 2021 at 9:00am for funeral service and burial at his rural farm in Nakuru Molo, Sasumwa village.
