Brother of the late Sanford Mukatia, the late Zainabu Oniambo, and Peter Mukatia. Father of Eric Mukatia, the late Emily Afandi, the late Doreen Vihenda, Imelda, Mukabane, Nehemiah Abusa, and Also Kadenyi. Father-in-law of Dorcas Saisi.

He was a former football player Kakamega Motcom FC and an employee of Ministry of Public Works Kakamega. Grandfather of Mercy, Zeddrick, Yvonne, Jade, Ethan, and Jeanne. Great uncle, friend, and mentor to many.

The body leaves Kakamega Referral Hospital on Thursday, 05/03/2020 for mass at St. Joseph’s Cathedral Kakamega. Burial will be on Saturday, 07/03/2020 at his home in Likwiro village. (KEFINCO Estate).
