JOSEPH MUTUA MUNYAO

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear father Mr. Joseph Mutua Munyao which occurred on Saturday 28th January 2023 at the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH), after a long illness.

He was son to the late Daudi Munyao and the late Naomi Mutumi.

He was husband to the late Damaris Mwikali. He was father to Meshack Mutua, the late Johnstone Makili, Jefferson Mutisya and Benjamin Mutie. He was father-in-law to Esther Mutua, Elizabeth Makili, Joypurity Mutisya and Faith Mutie. He was blessed with 8 grandchildren.

He was brother to the late Vata Kilatya, the late Ruth Wayua Waita, the late Rachel (Lakeli) Kang’eng’e, the late Simon Mulandi, the late Nzioka Daudi, the late Grace Wanza, the late Lydia Kiundi, the late Kavindu Munguti and the late Peter (Vetelo) Daudi.

Prayers and burial plans are taking place daily at his home (Iviani).

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home (Machakos), on Friday 3rd February, 2023 at 9.00 am, for a funeral service and thereafter burial at his home ground in King’uutheni Village, Muvau/Kikuumini Ward, Makueni County.

Revelation 21:4: “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
