JOSEPH OBUDHO OJOO

With profound sadness and acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Mzee Joseph Obudho Ojoo (Babu).

Cherished husband of the late Mama Wilkester Awino Obudho Ojoo (Mami) from Goma Village, Bondo.

He was the son of the late Mzee Jacobo Ojoo Odero and Mama Monica Yongo Ojoo. Sibling to Michael Opata, Benjamin Odero, Janet Oyugi, Mathlida Obondo, John Onimbo, Mary Anyango, and predeceased by Maria Ogodha, Patricia Otwal, Magdalena Ogango, Jane Oloo, and Joshua Apiyo.

A devoted father to Emily, Dorothy, Lucie, Sylvia, Josephine, Rodi, Annabel, Deborah, Steve Victoria, Ojoo, and the late Tom and Omboke.

He was a respected son-in-law to the late Zephaniah and Yuanita Raduma.

Father-in-law to Anthony Massawa, the late George Owino, Chris Odwesso, Mary Atieno, Joyce Wanjiku, Patricia Alberti, Tom Mboya and Theresa Oduor.

Mzee Ojoo was a beloved uncle to Ajulu, Barbara, Kotonya, Ojoo, Jura, the late Nelly and Millie, among others. He leaves behind a legacy as a grandfather to 22 and a great-grandfather to 3.

Family and friends are gathering at Osomoge Farm, Goma, in the Utonga sub-location, Bondo Sub-County, Siaya County.

The funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 9th 2023, from 9.00 am at Osomoge Farm, where Mzee Oloo will be laid to rest.
