JOSEPH THIONGO GATAUWA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Joseph Thiongo Gatauwa. 

The late Joseph Thiongo Gatauwa was the son of the late Augustino Gatauwa and Maria Gachiku. 

His siblings were the late Nduta Kanono, the late Teresia Wangui, the late Francis wa Ngugi, the late Michael Njoroge and the late Mary Kanuthu.

Step-brother of Warura Gachunu, Mary Wanjira Gachuna and Joseph Chege. 

Husband of the late Elizabeth Wangui Thiongo and Rose Wangui Thiongo, father of Rachael Mweru and James Mugi.

Brother-in-law of the Karuga’s of Banana, Kiambu and the Mwaura’s of Naivasha. 

Son-in-law of the late Titus Waithaka Karugu and the late Rahab Njeri Waithaka. 

Also, son-in-law of Peter Mwaura Kariuki and Rachael Mweru Mwaura. 

The late hails from Riruta Satellite, Dagoretti South in Nairobi. 

Daily funeral arrangements are being conducted at his residence in Riruta at 5:00pm near former G.V.C Club.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home at 8:00am and the burial will be held on Friday, 11/10/2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Riruta at 10:00am.

The body will be laid to rest at his residence in Riruta Satellite near former G.V.C Club
