The late Joseph Waweru Chege was born in 1920 in Mbogoini Village, Kahumbu location, Kigumo sub-location Murang’a County.

Son of late Chege wa Mutuanjau and the late Kanyi Chege. He was brother of the late Gachoki Kanyoni. L. Ezekiel Kinuthia Chege, late Wanjiku lthaya, late Nyambura wa Ndolo, Njoki Munjama, Jerusha Nyambura Obed, Gachiku Mwangi. He was married to late Eunice Michere and late Joyce Wamaitha. He was blessed with Bernard Chege Waweru, Late Jane Wanjiku, John Mbau, Francis Kinuthia, William Kabugua, Nancy Wanjiru, Sylvia Njoki of U.S.A, Samuel Wanyingi, Peter Mburu, Late Nancy Wanjiru, Margaret Wanjiku, Jane Njoki, George Kibandi, Bernard Chege, and Rose Nyambura. Grandfather of Eunice Michere Chege of Tanzania, Joseph Waweru Wanjiku (Nairobi), Joseph Waweru Chege of U.S.A, Robert Chege of U.S.A, Sharon Michere Njoki of U.S.A and 50 more others and 20 great grandchildren.

The body leaves Montezuma mortuary in Kabati on Friday 3/7/2020 at 8:00am. Thereafter proceed to his final resting place at his home Mbogoini, Kahumbu Location, Kigumo sub-location Murang’a.
